Neat pair of interviews
I like the Rangers’ chances against the 4 pitchers the Blue Jays are throwing out there this week. Doesn’t seem like a group that is going to match up that well against the Rangers overall.

I always fear those pitchers we SHOULD handle...
Rangers’ history is littered with “guys named Joe” who shut us down. Any guy who can throw a slider away has a chance against us if we’re not on our game.

One thing they ought to do with defensive stats
somehow CD needs to be adjusted up a little and Elvis needs to be adjusted down a little. Some of CDs most spectacular plays are on bad throws from Mike and Elvis.
I think thats one of the reason that CDs numbers show just a little above average, they don’t seem to factor in throws that might not be made by other 1B.

I think that's the next step in defensive stats
