OT: Gabbard Remains Out of Control ; Kason Gabbard Walks Four, Hits Two and Gives Up Seven Runs in the First Inning, and the Sea Dogs Never Recover.
When Kason Gabbard rejoined the Portland Sea Dogs, the plan seemed for him to make a few starts, then move on to Pawtucket, then maybe back to the big leagues.
Not so fast.
Gabbard's command has been an issue since he's arrived. It hit a low point Tuesday night.
Gabbard failed to make it out of the first inning, allowing seven runs in a 9-5 loss to the New Britain Rock Cats at Hadlock Field.

I'm going to be in Maine at the beginning of Aug
I wonder if he’ll still be there, looking for his lost control. If I see it lying around anywhere, I’ll be sure to give it back to him.

I liked him =(
He still wasn’t getting hit hard as a ranger, especially if you ignore the starts before he went on the DL various times.
Obviously the combination of heavy injuries and lost control is one thats not going to have a happy ending, too bad though I thought he had something when healthy and with even a semblance of slight control.
the preceding post was a great success.
