Expected him to hit like Johnny Bench. I think we were under the impression that he had mad skills on defense. Although that is a drastic drop in production. April must have been his career month.

It was over 400 in April, I wanna say somewhere in the .480’s. It’s back to normal now, and apprently, so is he.

He’s still shown some decent-nice power throughout the season. Overall, he’s shown that he isn’t completely useless with the bat and since he’s only 22 years old, is still a guy to keep an eye on. He’ll always have a job as long as he’s healthy thanks to his defense so anything he can do on offense is just a bonus.
By 2028, Mark Teixeira will be in the HOF.

No, not that simple
batters have more control over BaBIP than pitchers and I think it’s safe to say that Pina was hitting the ball better in April than since then.

True, but the April and July variances are pretty extreme
I doubt he has complete control to the point of it being above .500 or below 200.

Purgatory's kind of like the in-betweeny one. You weren't really shit, but you weren't all that great either. Like Tottenham.
