Baseball America has a new podcast (it's free) up today. They start off by saying that they are going to try and have a podcast a week for the rest of the season. They also mention that prospects are going to be the subject from here until September (save for signing deadline and best college players).
This week's podcast is about the midseason top 25. However, they don't really talk about the list per se. The hosts mention a few players who did or did not make the list. They also answer some questions emailed to them about the top 25 and other topics. The actual list is under the pay section of the site. The hosts say that the rundown of the players is available in the free section, but without commentary (though I've yet to find it).
BA also has an article up about untouchable prospects. Martin Perez makes the list, saying:
Perez may have the highest ceiling of any Rangers pitcher as an 18-year-old Venezuelan southpaw mowing down hitters in low Class A... He has mound presence, competitiveness, above-average stuff and a solid delivery. In other words, he's exactly the kind of player other teams ask for in trade talks.
