I want to talk Rangers!

I am a big Texas Rangersfan and have been following the Rangers for the last 10 years. I am interested in joining or starting a Rangers discussion group in the Mckinney, TX area. That is, are any fans out there meeting up and talking about the Rangers or want to? I am thinking it would good if fans met once a month or every other weekend at a coffee shop or sports bar. Email me your thoughts or suggestions.

After reading a few of your comments, I felt it necessary to provide more information about the need for the discussion group. I have a friend that has some developmental delays. He dose not know many people and can’t do very many things well. He has a love for Ranger’s baseball, and I thought that it would be great if he could join a baseball discussion group. That is, meet some people and have an outlet to verbally discuss baseball (he dose not type well so this blog will not be an option for him). He knows a lot about the Rangers and could be an asset of knowledge to any group. So, this morning I helped create this post. Sorry for making it sound weird; I am female and this is the first time I posted on a sports blog. He is not a predator, murder, or any of those other things mentioned in the comments.

I am just a friend trying to help a friend. So, if you know about a group that meets to talk about baseball and that will be welcoming to someone with disabilities please let us know.

But if this friend turns out to be involved in MLM schemes, or product parties, that’s worse than bait and switch human meet marketing. If I’ve got the facts straight, and the friend is developmentally disabled, a small group that convenes regularly on Ranger baseball would be a great idea. With regard to this forum, though, it’s composed of people from all over – Dallas and Tarrant and Denton and Collin counties, scattering throughout the rest of Texas, all akjacent states, both coasts, and as far away as China. Being in or around McKinney sort of limits how many here could or would take part, especially those who commute to Dallas or Mid-Cities locations to work or have young families. So yeah, I don’t have a solution, much less a good one. But if that’s reality as posted, you are a good friend.
