So let me get this right...
Parks lives in Mexico scouting ball players, while also writing/blogging about the Rangers’ system…he is also a musician living part time in New York (I guess)….
Not to mention he has one of the sickest mustaches on the planet and can actually pull the look off.
I really hate this guy.
I'm Ron Burgundy?

Yes.
All of those are true (well, I dont actually live in Mexico. I live in Brooklyn, but spend most of my time in Mexico), especially the part about the ’stache.
The album took a year to record because of my travel schedule. It will be released next month. Until then I’m just trying to get some feedback/followers.
I only listen to something if my leader Danny likes it

good stuff
when is Bear Coat going to do a Pixies tribute album? I know it’s gonna happen (what sensible artist wouldn’t?), the question is when?
and don’t let them take your stache away. Solid, solid stache.
What's the rumpus?
Ha, Thanks
My life is a Pixies tribute album. I’m in the studio this week working on the second record, and I already wrote the songs for the third record while I was in Mexico, but I’ll see what I can do on the Pixies front for #4!
Double LP
An ambitious Double LP with the Mexico material as Disk 2. Nothing like selling a double LP to the labels right out of the box!
But in all seriousness I dig the stuff. Any song that has “I’m a motherfucking mastodon” in it gets my full support. That’s damn near Conchordian!
And if asked would you do a concert on the lawn after a Rangers game? Someone needs to break up the R.E.K.- Jack Ingram tedium
BTW-If your life is a tribute to the Pixies, then where is your tattoo of the number 13?
What's the rumpus?
Musically speaking, of course
I’m not ballsy enough to get a tattooed tit, that says number 13. Viva. Don’t want no blue eyes. La Loma.
