There are a lot of conflicting reports on what happened
no real conformation of who the second victim is.
My line of reasoning is that if it was his wife, both sets of family members would have notified with one call. Makes me wonder who the unidentified woman was.

UPDATE: Darren Rovell is reporting on his twitter account that McNair was shot and killed by his wife in an apparent murder-suicide.
UPDATE 2: Now Rovell’s source is pulling back on that report. No more until we actually learn something.

Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams confirmed the quarterback’s death in a brief statement released Saturday.
Nashville fire officials and Metro Police confirmed to affiliate station WSMV that McNair was dead at an apartment in downtown Nashville.

I get the impression
that he had a house with his family, and he also had this condo that he shared with a 20 year old gf.
There's more to the picture than meets the eye.
That's sad.
I hope his family will be okay. What a terrible, tragic and violent way to go.

it seems like only a few years ago he was co-MVP, then a back-up, then out of football, and now this. he was one of my favorite players of the late 90s-early 00s. what a sad way to go.

the aparment he was in appears to be in a not very nice area of town. maybe drugs were involved. very sad, always was a fan of steve mcnair.
From what I gathered he was in a
townhome that he shared with a sports memorabilia buddy of his.
Seems to me this was a place he took “the Strange” to.
