Giants fan from McCovey Chronicles will campaign for Kinsler

We Giants fans know very well that your second baseman Ian Kinsler just got snubbed big time for not making the All-star team in the first place.

Star-divide

So we would like to help you guys vote Ian Kinsler in for the 33rd man on the all-star team while you guys in Texas would help us vote for Pablo "Kung Fu Panda" Sandoval. This way both our players would make it deservingly so. How's that sound?

ill vote for Pablo, i think you should vote for Lind though or at least check out there numbers and see them.

ill throw some vote Ian’s way and Pablo’s way, but I dunno if he’s the most deserving out of the AL guys

those are the 2 i voted for already

Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan was on the same pitching staff with Danny Darwin during the 1986 through 1988 seasons. Both were described by Milo Hamilton as "tall, tough Texans." It was a source of debate amongst Astros players and fans over who would win in a fight, Ryan or Darwin. Though Astros pitcher Bob Knepper attempted to set up a fight between the two during spring training in 1988, manager Hal Lanier stopped it before it could commence. Many experts, including Astros shortstop Rafael Ramirez, felt that Darwin would win because he "looked like someone no man would want to mess with."

I think these kind of things are pretty dumb

But FWIW, there’s not a peep of this on McCovey Chronicles.

Yes there is

Look in a lot of the threads where we talk about the rosters. Plus, I just posted one.

There's a bunch of smart folks at McC

And they all seem to be of the mindset that Ian got shafted. I haven’t voted as many times as most, but every time, I’m punching the button for Panda and Kinsler.

There's a few places in McC where we campaign for Kinsler!!

In both a rec’d fanpost and Gamethread.

I was voting for Kinsler even before this came up. Because Kinsler is excellent and leaving him off the All Star roster is a bad move.

I’ll post what I posted on McC, minus the typos.

It’s absurd that Kinsler and Cruz were snubbed, and I’ve been voting for Kinsler and Pablo all day. I hope you guy vote Pablo, as I’m continuing to vote Kinsler!

I made that post before I even read that thread on McC. Dudes who love Cruz who aren’t Rangers fans are invariably dudes that stole him in their fantasy draft.

I now have a vested interest in seeing Kinsler go.

Not of the Mariners or A’s and of course the Angels….. This sounds like a good deal to me.
I think the Rangers are a good team to pull for, especially with Nolan in charge.

Going to UT right now.
Have close family in Dallas.
Always liked the Rangers attitude of “screw the pitching, lets develop some more hitting.”

So I’m getting a kick out of this unholy alliance.

Hey Guys

From McC and creator of this thread, and its great to see that the agreement is working.
Both of our guys are in the lead but it looks like Sandoval is only in a “slim lead” while Kinsler is in a “tightly packed” race.
Let’s keep voting!

Kinsler is definitely the biggest AL oversight (Pedroia does not deserve to go). I’m one of the many on McCovey Chronicles voting the Kinsler/Sandoval daily double. I’m also rooting for the Rangers to win the west.
