Feldman needs to settle down.
I know that missed call on the pitch in the 2nd probably pissed him off, but still… 65 pitches through 3.

I was posting this exact thing but last thread was closed on me.
Maybe Teagarden will be better with more PT, but so far he’s been beyond disappointing behind the plate.
Is it every reference or everytime they mention his name that you drink
Because if it the 2nd, I doubt anyone drinking anything harder than beer makes it through the game
OT: Monorail Accident
For anyone that saw it in the news but hasn’t heard what happened (I’m not sure if that part has been reported yet), the front monorail was told to back up and that it had clearance, and it didn’t. Crushed the front of the back monorail, killing the pilot. Several guests were around to see it, as the park had only been closed for about an hour.
That is all. For those who haven’t seen it, scroll past this post.

Transportation and Ticket Center
On the Epcot rail. It hit in the station and pushed it back out over the guest walkways.
Ah...
was going to say looking at the pic, it didn’t seem like the monorail crashed into the front one since there wasn’t enough damage on both trains for that, and likely they wouldn’t have still be on the rail in the first place, just from my railroad experience.

Pretty sure what he meant was...
That he thinks if a 2nd baseman drops a ball on the transfer to the throwing hand, that should count as if the player never caught the ball and thus the runner shouldn’t be out at 2nd.
He definitely didn’t phrase it well though.

"Here around the Bay area?"
Earth to the broadcast booth, Texas is nowhere near the bay area.
Ron Washington...giving hope everywhere to the kids who eat lead paint chips of being a big league manager when they grow up since 2007.
Mumble mouths seem to say a lot that they don't mean
Ron Washington...giving hope everywhere to the kids who eat lead paint chips of being a big league manager when they grow up since 2007.
Okay i'm just saying I think they know that Texas is not near the Bay area.
They might not be as smart as the geniuses on here, but to point out something they obviously didn’t mean is just being picky.
I'm just goofin' new boot goofin'
If you asked them where Fort Worth is, I would bet at least 2 out of 3 would have no clue...
To a lot of people in the East, everything west of the Mississippi is within a couple hours of each other.
Ron Washington...giving hope everywhere to the kids who eat lead paint chips of being a big league manager when they grow up since 2007.
Yup.
Sounds funny. And then you hang out with people from the east coast and it because painfully obvious that it’s true.
You haven't hung out with people from the east much I take it...
they can’t fathom how big Texas is by itself. They think it’s unreal it could take 10-12 hours to drive across 1 state, when on the east coast 10-12 hours can take you through 5-8 states.
Ron Washington...giving hope everywhere to the kids who eat lead paint chips of being a big league manager when they grow up since 2007.
I'm not talking about them knowing where fort worth is.
I’m saying that they (in the booth) know that the bay area is not by Texas.
I'm just goofin' new boot goofin'
I honestly would not be surprised if they didn't.
Seriously. I’ll bet you’re right, but I wouldn’t put it past them.
I've had people from the east wonder where entire states are that I think would become obvious from looking at a map at some point in their lives.
Oh, and pretty constantly people don’t think New Mexico is a real state.
Yup...
Americans as a whole aren’t very knowledgeable geographically.

Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan was on the same pitching staff with Danny Darwin during the 1986 through 1988 seasons. Both were described by Milo Hamilton as "tall, tough Texans." It was a source of debate amongst Astros players and fans over who would win in a fight, Ryan or Darwin. Though Astros pitcher Bob Knepper attempted to set up a fight between the two during spring training in 1988, manager Hal Lanier stopped it before it could commence. Many experts, including Astros shortstop Rafael Ramirez, felt that Darwin would win because he "looked like someone no man would want to mess with."
