Padilla has never been considered a positive influence in the clubhouse.

He’s a mediocre pitcher who has a penchant for unexpectedly melting down both mentally and literally.

I’ll be happy to see us decline his 2010 option.

everybody is going to lose games throughout the year, that is going to happen, Padilla knew he didn’t have it that day and he hit a guy that is a total douche it honestly doesn’t bother me that much, that game was lost with or without him hitting Tex,

Yeah

and he didn’t care about having a tired bullpen for the next game. Good pitchers suck it up and try to get at least 5 or 6 innings even when they don’t have their best stuff. And because of that little sissy fit, he got put on waivers.

No

by cmkelly29 on Jul 8, 2009 10:14 PM CDT up reply actions

My thinking on it is...

3 out of 4 of those bands are pretty good. I have a few of those albums — against my indie-rock snob sensabilities — and I think it’s just a matter of over-saturation. That first Killers album is great, IMHO, but even I got sick of it. Meanwhile, there are so many shitty local bands that get lauded for how bad-ass they are, and how major labels are missing out on them. If I saw any of those bands (except the Fray) at a local club, I would piss myself.

I think it surprised Jones that he got one up in the zone that much.

Especially with 1B open.

That was a pitch to hit out but he was looking lower in the zone and was just under it.

I don’t think Halladay is really worth giving up a Teixeira-like prospect package for, even if we extend him as part of the deal. His prime has to end sooner or later, and he is 32.
