Yep, it's just a typical Padilla start.

Padilla has never been considered a positive influence in the clubhouse.
He’s a mediocre pitcher who has a penchant for unexpectedly melting down both mentally and literally.
I’ll be happy to see us decline his 2010 option.

Yeah
We don’t care if we lose to New York as long as Teixeira gets beaned. really tough.
Alma para conquistarte, corazón para quererte, y vida para vivirla junto a ti.
ok shit head
everybody is going to lose games throughout the year, that is going to happen, Padilla knew he didn’t have it that day and he hit a guy that is a total douche it honestly doesn’t bother me that much, that game was lost with or without him hitting Tex,
by blueballlefty on Jul 8, 2009 10:11 PM CDT up reply actions
Yeah
and he didn’t care about having a tired bullpen for the next game. Good pitchers suck it up and try to get at least 5 or 6 innings even when they don’t have their best stuff. And because of that little sissy fit, he got put on waivers.
Alma para conquistarte, corazón para quererte, y vida para vivirla junto a ti.

Ok then
John Thompson (sic?)
Alma para conquistarte, corazón para quererte, y vida para vivirla junto a ti.
different animals but
Thomson could have helped this rotation, he had some good years in Atlanta post Rangers, years that would have been considered good by our standards at the time, and he ate a lot of innings

Didn’t we get Kiker with the draft pick comp for losing Thomson? I think so.

The Angels remind me..
of these 2 short little ginger twins I played against in rec basketball.
I was the PG, so I always had to cover one of them. They were just so fucking pesky and elusive.
Im just glad torii/vlad are out. Otherwise I fear it'd be more like 5-4.
the preceding post was a great success.
I am so tired of...
Kings of Leon, the Killers, Franz Ferdinand, The Fray, and all other bands that make this crap-ass rock.
Rant over.
They've reached Goo-Goo Dolls status...
they’re just ALWAYS on the radio.
That “Someone like you” song is ESPECIALLY annoying.
That song sucks ass
but, let me ask you this: If any of those bands were from your hometown, and they weren’t national acts, wouldn’t you think they are great?
That's why they call them business sox
My thinking on it is...
3 out of 4 of those bands are pretty good. I have a few of those albums — against my indie-rock snob sensabilities — and I think it’s just a matter of over-saturation. That first Killers album is great, IMHO, but even I got sick of it. Meanwhile, there are so many shitty local bands that get lauded for how bad-ass they are, and how major labels are missing out on them. If I saw any of those bands (except the Fray) at a local club, I would piss myself.
That's why they call them business sox
