One thing to think about for the playoffs...
The Rangers simply cannot win in Comerica park, it seems. So since the wild card will probably come out of the East, that would be good news for us if we hold on and win the West and if Detroit wins the Central. The wild card team can’t play the division winner from its own division in the first round, so the wild card team (right now, that would be NYY) would have to play either us or Detroit, and so the Rangers would play either NYY or BOS in the first round.
