and pays no attention to the games around them.
lost 3 of 4 to Oakland before the Angels series
now lost the first one to Cle.
Earlier this year we were swept by Det. after a series against LAA
we lost 2 of 3 to SD before a LAA series.
and we lost 3 of 4 to Seattle after an LAA series
Only twice did we play well before or after an Angel series….we swept Tampa inbetween angels series and we swept Seattle before LAA early in the season.

I said this past off-season that IF Blalock stays healthy, hits 30 bombs with 110 RBI and a .900 OPS that he would be in line for a contract along the lines of what Bradley received (3/30). He’s still in his prime and younger than Bradley.
I had no idea what to expect from Blalock before the season because I didn’t know if he was going to be healthy so your assertion that I predicted Blalock was definitely going to receive a 3/30 next off-season is false.

That's what I'm thinking.
Sure you get on, but the guy coming up after you pops up on the first or second pitch (Byrd, Hank, Ian, Josh), strikes out (AJ, Hank, Byrd, Ian) or grounds into a DP (Omar, Face). The only guy who I don’t get sick in the stomach coming to the plate with a man on is Murphy or Elvis, and even that is stretching it.
Just look at the first two innings of this game and you’ll get a sample of what it would look like. Our LOB would go through the roof and we might add a run a week. Not worth the prospect or the money. It’s the approach that needs the help, not one player.

He's great
for that one awesome catch a game, but really, most of the time he has to go to the ball cause he fucked up the route anyways. He does really good things and have the potential to be really great, but generally just have a poor approach. Hence, the Hank Blalock of Wide Outs. Post game threads are treated as a place for the lonestarball ranger fan community to post various scores or off topic discussions into the night and thus a member of said community posting an angel score is typical.
Someone who is not part of the community not trying to inform others, but is instead trying to taunt the community with said score is just flat out internet trolling and is fairly pathetic.
As if the two random off topic threads of sharky and miles being posted to halosheaven. Thats just sad. As if the miles thread doesn’t have a dozen members and the site admin himself calling it stupid and thats just how we roll around here.

A few years ago I was walking home from the gas station I picked some candy and a drink. On my way back home I counted 34 cars and 17 people…..I live in a very busy place. Anyways back to the story as I was saying I saw 34 cars and 17 people now the 34 cars were either white or red, no other color what so ever. Red happens to be my least favorite color, and well white is just fucking boring. I got fucking pissed, but I had my candy and a cold drink, so I didn’t let it get to me. But then this group of 17 people came walking up behind me, there was 7 girls and 10 guys. They looked to be in their mid twenties, and they all had on matching blue suits. Which is fine. I like blue.
Then they started tickling each other randomly just for the fuck of it. I started walking faster in fear that they might tickle me. Then one of the girls started running right past me and this big guy ran after her, and pulled her shirt off on accident. She was wearing a red and white bra, and I fucking had it I ran all the way home, so I could dig right into my candy. Right as I got onto my doorstep I tripped and fell right into a pile of ants. I ended up with 3,417 ant bites. And that’s basically it I hope you read this and waste your time. Blah Blah Blah Blah snakes on a plane.

i watched their game and
ervin pitched his best game of the ear, which is not hard considering how he has been this ear…but he pitched against a ras lineup that was far superior to the lineup that holland saw with the angels top 4 players not playing. i love holland but i give the edge to ervin on this one.
hopefully we win the next 2 cause we’re back 5 games now. i think/hope they lose tomorrow w/having a pitcher pitching in his first career game…we will see.

Well, I guess. I didn't watch so I can't really say.
But I said it because of having more strikeouts/less walks. Its hard to imagine anyone could look significantly better than Holland did…
Btw, Figgins sat because he sucks vs lefties and was completley ice cold in general. Morales sat partially to rest, but hes a .264 obp player vs lefties this year as well. The only play who really makes any big difference is Napoli over Mathis.

i think the 3 that sat were just tired…1st game figgins has sat and napoli didn’t even play tonight on his bobblehead night…we were lucky not to see morales though…he is on track for 38 hrs.

Not really a documentary, but....
I love watching the “Eric Clapton – Sessions for Robert Johnson” DVD. It doesn’t talk a whole lot about Johnson himself because there wasn’t much known about him…..but the music is INCREDIBLE!!
