But I have a difficult time considering anything that he does in regard to this episode as “stand-up.” Throwing your helmet is a pretty douche move, imo.

"Stand-up" refers to the lack of an appeal.
Appealing this suspension would have been douche on top of douche. The isolated non-appeal is stand-up, everything else is douche.

The embarrassement of the whole episode will go away quicker for Youklis if he did'nt appeal.
smart move publicity wise rather than stand-up anything.

5 games = 1 missed start… and if they wanted to, I guess they could pitch him on the 6th day… so they aren’t really losing much.
