The video site I hosted on won’t let it be up in the fanshot window, so I put my gif of all 16 ks. I don’t know if it will even animate up there.

Anyway, on a whim I wanted to make a video of Feliz’s 16 Ks last night and asked the post game thread for music suggestions.. did the two most popular.

3 and a half minute “Be Happy” version.
35 second “Bodies hit the floor” version.

And finally, heres a link to the link to the .gif.

the preceding post was a great success.

As awesome as a Feliz fastball

Great work, Shep.

The thought of Feliz and Holland rolling back-to-back in future Rangers’ rotations is almost more than I can handle.

+1

but the thought of Holland-Feliz-Perez back to back to back is wayyy more than I can handle, but I’ll take it for sure

After Fuentes blows a save and an Angels loss to the Indians:

"Hey you know who would have gotten those 3 outs in the 9th?
Darren O’Day." - FirebatM3

Great stuff man

That vid you compiled from the standings GIFs you did was also hilarious. I hadn’t seen some of those before.

J.P. can take Roy Halladay and shove him up his ass. I’ll take Derek Holland. - AJM

Rangers can no hit curve ball. Straight ball, they hit it very much. Curve ball, bats are inept.

On a couple of pitches, he drags his right foot on the follow though

The gif is too fast so I can’t tell what pitch it is, though. Is that his change up? It seems like something like that will be picked up by batters.

"What ... 92 miles per hour?" Feldman scoffed. "That's not gas. Feliz throws gas."

by the time he's following through

its too late. the ball is already halfway to the plate

Heh, good luck with that.

"When he came up with that ball, hop or not, he looked exactly like a homeless guy who had found a long cigarette butt – only to discover it was soaked with gasoline. He could not have thrown out anyone there, even though Cust moves at about the speed of soil erosion." - Ed C.

No joke.

I hope hitters start looking at his feet to try to determine when he’s throwing a change. At 90 mph, they’ll probably whiff.

And the little bastard threw it for a swinging strike three in a 3-2 count. He’s blessed. And ballsy.

Feliz...

needs to be pushed back to every third game, rather than every other game imo. Especially if he is pitching two innings or 30+ pitches each outing. His velocity in his last outing did concern me a little. I know it’s probably not a big deal, but this kid has too much talent to chance it.

If he’s only going one inning and 15 pitches or so then fine, every other day would be ok. Anymore than that and I would give him two days rest, unless it’s an absolutely must win game.

BTW, nice work Shep, as usual.
