Rangers calling up Neftali Feliz
Neftali Feliz is apparently to be added to the 25 man roster today. I'm guessing Warner Madrigal gets optioned to make room for him.
I'm assuming Frankie Francisco won't be activated until Monday, when Ian Kinsler should be healthy, which would allow them to send Joaquin Arias down to make room for Frankie.
Matt Harrison should be moved to the 60 day d.l. to make room for Feliz on the 40 man roster.

Technically this one though is more on the Rangers and ESPN...
than it is MLB. MLB and ESPN have a contract that ESPN’s Sunday night game of the week is the only that can be televised during that time span and thus all over teams should play afternoon games. Actually all are forbidden from playing Sunday night games. Rangers have a special agreement with ESPN to play games at night on Sundays, but can’t show it nationally, only regionally.

That guy really intrigues me
As a study on what a guy with below-average stuff can become if he really understands the art of pitching. I read an article about the changes he made coming into this year, basically it hinged around him looking at his numbers and realizing that in order to become a better pitcher, the best route for him to pursue would be to limit his flyballs, thus bringing his HR% down substantially. He started throwing a cutter which somehow batters have a hard time getting under, and his FIP is down .89 points as a result despite his K/bb Ratio being pretty close to identical.
Makes me wonder how many pitching coaches are aware of sabermetrics and actively use the numbers to assist their charges’ development.

Why is Feliz being called up?
Is Neftali hanging around until Tuesday? Or is he hanging around in case Millwood goes on the DL?
Washington also said that once Ian Kinsler said he’s good to go, it will still be another day before he’s in the starting lineup. That didn’t happen today, so the guess is the earliest Kinsler will now play is Tuesday.
