Julio Borbon would like an apology...
Lets be honest... Adam J. Morris hates fast speedy guys and this is no exception... Draft time a few years ago he joined the hate wagon to this guy and everyone followed... Everyone but me... I love fast guys, they turn me on... But everyone was like "please don't draft him, hes a bust!" WRONG! He is now our leadoff hitter less than 2 years removed from that draft.. He has exeeded everyones expectations, including mine.. Please apologize to this young gent, I bet his feeling are hurt with all this hate.. Too bad hes's our leadoff hitter and hitting like .350.....
So please show him love, this guy is a true stud of a talent and we are blessed to have his talent on our team. Join me to proclaim him a great player and a great Ranger for years to come..
P.S. Never drink 3 4 loco's becuase I did and its not a good story....
P.S.... Never let a freshman girls in highschool drive you home when you are wasted, because like 2 did and I was about to slap then it was so annoying...
P.S... Never redline a truck, especially if its not yours... I think I blew out my friends transmission in his truck because I was like going 95 in it and redlining the shit out of it....
WOOPS!!!! YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE KEEP AN OPEN MIND ABOUT LIFE OR SOMETHING BECAUSE

So what I got out of this is
You and your girlfriend have something in common you both love fast guys. Explains why she likes you. We know you’re fast I’m sure you last a good 30 seconds.
We’ve also learned you like Borbon and think everyone else hates him…..which is not true. But after all this is a miles story.
We’ve learned that really you met the freshman girls at chuckie cheese, and your girlfriend left you up there all alone because you started a fight with chuckie cheese. So you had to ask someone to drive you home. The only offer was a mom that had a mini van full of freshman girls.
Good story Miles.

Borbon
I like him, he’s got a future, but he’s got a BABIP of .684. He is hitting a ton of liners (32.1%) but no amount of line drives could be enough to rule out that much luck.

He'll struggle at some point.
And then people will say he’s a bust, and wish we had Marlon Byrd back.

depending on what Borbon does the rest of the season
I think he might be a huge trade chip this offseason. He’s super fast and is making a great first impression, but I hope we learned last year that often times a player will never have a higher trade value than after an abbreviated, but successful ML debut.
Think of the bounty that CD and Salty and/or Teagarden could have netted in trade last offseason. Borbon is a guy that I love watching play, but it wouldn’t just kill me if he was included in a blockbuster trade.

I think he's incredibly valuable to the Rangers moving forward
Having him in CF pushing Hamilton to a corner is big for this team. Plus his speed back to back with Andrus in the lineup is deadly.
I understand your point, but he fills a pretty big need for this team going forward.

Borbon
I’ll admit I wasn’t a huge fan of the pick, though I thought he was the kind of guy that would make a good trade chip.
Having seen him in the majors now, Borbon seems to be a very smart player, and I like his approach both at the plate and on the bases. Still want to see more, but I’ll be happy if he proves me wrong.

That is how I remember it as well...
Most people were just afraid the front office would pass on all the big name pitchers to take Borbon at 17. I don’t recall many, if any, being overly upset with taking him at 35. He was still one of the top rated outfielders in the draft and was good value there, despite his perceived flaws.
