I "caught" a Home Run ball at Wrigley
Feel free to ridicule me for my lack of catching abilities, my physical appearance or the fact I wore my Rangers gear to Wrigley.
Those Cubs fans were pissed a Ranger fan came away with it, I can tell you that much.

That's pretty cool BZA...
I’ve been to dozens of games and never caught a HR or foul ball.
Pretty cool memory for ya, first time at Wrigley?

Yeah it was
First time in Chicago at all. Was a great 5 days.
I had a paper route when I was a kid. I was supposed to go to 2,000 houses. Or two dumpsters.
Perhaps a fanpost...
about your experience is in order?

Oh, you were one of THOSE fans
The one wearing garb for a team not even playing in that stadium that day. I usually scoff at those people. And probably would have done the same to you…esp. if you caught a HR ball from my team.
But, since you’re a Rangers fan, I think it’s pretty cool. Way to represent!!

So....
If the Nationals player had hit the home run, would you have thrown it back or kept it as a souvenir? Peer Pressure!

Absolutely
Zimmerman’s first home run was about 15 ft to my right and he got showered with boos and “throw it back”. I’d absolutely have kept it. Of course, I’m the type of person that’d find great pleasure in being booed by a stadium full of people.

Epic.
This is just dandy, on so many levels. Congrats.
