A slow moving low pressure system will be moving for the DFW region starting now (pouring outside as I type).
The game for tomorrow and Saturday night looks highly unlikely.
This would cause a serious problem with the schedule.

It very likely could be worse than that.
Stop caring about the color of your glove and focus on your pitching.
If Friday and Saturday and PPD
We could have a DH on Sunday, then a makeup day on a regularly scheduled off day. This could be very bad.

Look at it this way...
While all the other teams are busting their ass to get to the finish line, our team has been blessed with a little three-day break.
A chance to just zone out for a minute and reward themselves with some time with the family, playing video games, watching TV… or in Millwood’s case, just giving his arm a few more days to snooze
Man, on that fourth day they will be huuungreh for some baseball, crisp… fresh… ready for that last stretch run
So you're saying
we could lose Rowlett, Cedar Hill and Lewisville?

Weather forecasters get a very bad rap
They are actualy very accurate.
News broadcasts are the problem. For instance here in DFW. If there is a 30% chance of sleet, snow or ice, the news will have that the lead story. Because for some reason weather drives ratings. If they mention sleet snow or ice in a commercial or tease, people will be tuning in by the droves. The “weather guys” are even told to hype it up for ratings. Then when the 70% chance of not happening, happens. People say well those weather guys dont know crap.
This is a great website to get real forecasts and models.

Or sometimes...
The threat is severe enough the public needs to be alerted.
For instance mgb5, say there is a 50% chance of a major tornado outbreak in your area. If it happens tons of structures and lives will be lost. BUT, if people are aware it could save hundreds of lives. BUT, there is a 50% chance it will not happen. What do you do?

That's a tough call
Because this is Texas, and if you say there’s a chance or tornadoes, everyone goes outside to look.
