playoff tickets (non STH divison)
did anyone else buy tickets? for a long time couldnt find 4 seats together but finally ended up getting some in 322L...
anyone else buy tickets?
per stubhub as a buyer:
If the event is cancelled or postponed:
If an event is cancelled and will not occur at a later date, StubHub will send the Buyer an email offering the Buyer the opportunity to return their tickets within 2 weeks in order to receive a refund for the full cost of the tickets, including service fees and shipping and handling charges. StubHub, in its sole discretion, will determine when an event has been cancelled. If an event is postponed or rescheduled, the Buyer may use the tickets on the rescheduled date or, time permitting, list them for sale at StubHub. If an event is postponed but replacement tickets are required for entry to the event on the rescheduled date, StubHub will work to obtain replacement tickets for the Buyer. If an event is postponed and the number of replacement tickets available is limited, StubHub may, in its sole discretion, deem the event cancelled

REFUNDS
Under the awful circumstances that the Rangers don’t make the playoffs, WE ARE GONNA BE ABLE TO GET OUR MONEY BACK, RIGHT? I keep reading that “all sales are final,” but that CAN’T be true if they don’t play!

Anyone have a link that says otherwise?

per the rangers website
Postseason Refunds
Individual tickets purchased on the phone and over the internet, will automatically be refunded to the credit card used for their purchase. Those tickets do not need to be returned to the Texas Rangers. Tickets purchased at the box office will be accompanied by a refund form. These tickets should be mailed to the Rangers Ticket Office with the refund form. It will take approximately 4-6 weeks for all refund requests to be processed. All requests for refunds must be received by December 1, 2009.
Scout: He was a first-round pick right? Got a huge bonus?
KG: Oh yeah.
Scout: Well, he spent a lot of it on milkshakes.

Yes you can get your money back
The Rangers will try and get you to put the money you already spent towards tickets to next year. If you want your money back you will get it probably somewhere around Christmas. The stuff ive read say 4-6 weeks after the end of the World Series is when refunds will be sent back to your CCs

There is, in fact, a manly and lawful passion for equality which excites men to wish all to be powerful and honored. This passion tends to elevate the humble to the rank of the great; but there exists also in the human heart a depraved taste for equality, which impels the weak to attempt to lower the powerful to their own level, and reduces men to prefer equality in slavery to inequality with freedom.
