PrintLet the first sunday of the NFL season begin! I for one am incredibly excited to see what Cowboys team will come out today on the road after playing games at the Death Star in Arlington. To be honest, I expect to see them come out a little flat. The key to the game would be to stay in the game early, even if they fall behind to give themselves a good opportunity to take the game in the second half. My prediction 31-17 Cowboys.

This is my first year
A friend asked me to join and I dug the draft, and I’m kind of looking forward to it.
I’ve got Brees, but DeSean Jackson and Donnie Avery are my wideouts (with Mushin as my flex). Kinda bleh.

I'm not real optimistic about the Cowboys' chances to make the playoffs (9-7ish)...

If you've never been to Tampa, I can't describe how miserable the conditions are there today...
I did a photography assignment at the airport there…just a couple of blocks away from the stadium. It was a day kinda like today. Upper 80’s and cloudy. Stepped outside the rental car atop the parking garage and was instantly soaking wet with sweat…which doesn’t evaporate. Also, Tampa has these tiny black gnats that assault any sweating human. I can’t begin to grasp what it must be like to be wearing that much equipment, be sprinting, and banging bodies in that heat.

It could cause you to kick a 50 yard FG instead of a 45 yarder.
