Today at 3:40pm Michael Young is back in the lineup. Young is at designated hitter for Tuesday night's game with the Athletics. This is the first time he has played since a doubleheader against the Blue Jays on Sept. 1. He has been sidelined with a strained left hamstring but tested it running the bases before the game. He leads the Rangers with a .322 batting average.

Even if he re-injures himself, he still has all off season to heal. It’s now or never to get “this thing” back into the race.
