A graph illustrating the correlation between the Rangers' 2009 home attendance and their position in the AL West standings, intended to refute Ian Kinsler's assertion that "people in this area don't really believe in us ... they don't want to come out and support us." It took a plunge into six-games-back territory (and a lot of rain) to push attendance below 20,000 for any stretch of time. From "A Thought About Attendance, Ian Kinsler And Losing Baseball," available here: http://www.bbtia.com/home/2009/9/18/a-thought-about-attendance-ian-kinsler-and-losing-baseball.html. I'd love to know if I'm being completely irrational about this whole thing or not.
