Even though I was only 13 when I watched that
that has to be, along with the Dbacks beating the Yankees in the WS, my favorite moment ever in watching baseball.

What a great finish to a great game.

I was in my apartment in San Marcos and went absolutely nuts.
My roommates (who are/were huge Astros fans) were even jumping up and down with me. It was one of the best moments of my baseball watching life. I’ll never forget it.
The other sports are just sports. Baseball is a love. ~Bryant Gumbel, 1981
I was in the car with my family and i turned it on and I remember screaming and going crazy.
The car next to us thought I was completely nuts. I never got to hear Lewin’s call that is amazing. I hope we get the same feeling next year.
I'm just goofin' new boot goofin'
Single greatest moment of my Ranger watching life
Still have the newspaper from that game, that season was badass.
Whoa with the chills...
I was home sick from work..sitting on the floor in front of my tv when this happened. I jumped up smacked my hand into the ceiling fan then fell backwards racked myself…I almost cried from joy….it was the first time as a Rangers fan I actually thought…this is the year…this is the fucking year.
Scott Feldman – "The greatest Hawaiian-born Jewish baseball player to ever set foot on the mound."
Kind of sad
that the greatest moment for a lot of Ranger Fans was in a year that the Rangers stayed home for the playoffs. Just goes to show how long its been since this franchise was successful in the late 90s.
"I don't condone steroids or any other type of growth hormones or anything else, but I could care less, and, for the most part, I don't think the fans give a (bleep). The people that care about it are the people that probably don't like baseball," - Jim Leyland
I was shaking with nervousness during that at bat, i remember it..
pretty much praying when he got down 0-2. Called quite a few people after it. Ah, the highlight of the last decade.
If only it had worked out that year.. or any year…
the preceding post was a great success.
I broke a brand new pair of flip-flops running around my apartment
as I turned a corner, the strap broke, sending my foot out from underneath and my face into the wall. But I was too happy care,
After which, binge drinking cleared away the memory of the rest of the night
You can see me
jumping up and down on the first row of the third base side.
I walked in to the Rockfish restaurant in Irving about a half hour after the end of the game and the waiter said, “hey were you just at the Ranger game?” I was like “Yeah, how’d you know?” He said “I saw you on tv jumping up and down going crazy after the Rangers scored that last run”

Ok,
I can see me jumping up and down.
Or you can just translate it: “Nanny nanny boo boo, I was there and you weren’t”

Wait...
I think I see you.
Did you have on a Rangers shirt or hat?
