This just sucks. It’s tough to suck this badly in a situation when you shouldn’t suck. It was a horrible performance. It’s hard to describe the feeling. You don’t want to be the guy who lets hope get away. Somebody’s got to wear it, though. I have to wear it.

Own it, Big Game.
Love that guy.

Tommy has always been a no-nonsense guy to the media
A friend of mine covered a series of his in college when Alabama played at Nebraska and got swept. After one of the games, Hunter basically said, “We went up here and played like crap. It’s embarrassing.”
Last year, after he struggled in the Majors had been sent back to Triple-A, I asked about his time in the bigs. I was expecting to get the general “I learned a lot and hope to get back soon” answer, but this is what he said…
"It was awful," said Hunter of his experience in the Majors. "There’s nothing to say. I had 20 something earned runs in 10 innings. Not too many excuses. It was not good."
And this is why I love Tommy Hunter.
he's a badass
all part of the development though…this should make him stronger, and make the team stronger

...And that's why today DOES suck...
"...like some Russian priest fresh off a bottle of potato vodka and a box of cigars." -t ball
Reminds me of this Simpsons moment from 1996...
Homer: [on phone] Yeah, Moe, that team sure did suck last night.
They just plain sucked! I’ve seen teams suck before, but
they were the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked.
Marge: Homer! Watch your mouth!
Homer: Aw, I gotta go. My damn weiner kids are listening. [hangs
up]
Lisa: We are not weiners!
Homer: Then what are you dressed like that for?
Bart+Lisa: They made us.
Homer: “Oh, they made us.” That’s loser-talk! You gotta start
acting more like me and my team, the future champions of the
world. Nothing’s going to stop us now!

I love hearing that from the youngster
you know he’s gonna work his ass off this off-season and try to come back even stronger next year.
Tommy Hunter 4 Rangers rotation 2010.
..since, apparently, Millwood and Feldman are the only SP that have a lock in the rotation according to Wash.
I think he'll be in it
But right now its smart to not lock yourself into something like that. Hunter has options and if something happened and we all of a sudden went out and acquired a pitcher or two its easier to now say Hunter is gonna start in AAA than go and tell him that spot he had locked up is now gone
Bryan Smith (12:17:17 PM PT): Justin Smoak and Josh Hamilton. The AL West might just have found their Bash Brothers, v. 2.0.
HAHA that's laughable
clearly Hunter is locked in along with Holland. They’ll decide what they want to do with Feliz. I imagine bullpen and start McCarthy.
Locked in?
Come on…Kris Benson might have a good week or two this spring, and if Hunter’s locked in, what would we do then?

Did we even get any Anna Benson sightings?
If so, I missed em, thus making the entire Benson experiment completely a waste.
just stop.
don’t even give mgmt the idea again…

I LOL'ed so loud when reading this at 5:30am,

And the little bastard threw it for a swinging strike three in a 3-2 count. He’s blessed. And ballsy.
