The Rangers have shut down Josh Hamilton for the rest of the season.
Not a big shock, in what has been a colossally disappointing year for Hamilton.

Hopefully he will stop taking belly shots off women this offseason in arizona
and focus on getting back to par condition. I am just enthralled in what lack of presence and contribution he has brought to this team this year. With him healthy and playing at least HALFWAY like he did in 2008, we might not be talking about sitting out yet another October. I’m just very frustrated and disappointed in him this season.
