Josh Hamilton Returns to Arlington
Josh Hamilton will not be in uniform today, as he's heading back to Arlington to get treatment on his back, which is continuing to bother him.

I'm assuming he's referring to the walk total

No extension please.
Let his arb years completely go before you even consider an extension.
You'd think so

poor Hammy ....
from superstud to weak sister in one years time. :(
Where would the Rangers be if he had even 80% of the year he had last year?
HH is that a sock in your puppet or are you happy to see me?
Does he play agian this year?
Elvis Andrus - 2009 AL Rookie of the Year
Mitch Moreland -Tom Grieve Rangers Minor League Player of the Year
Martin Perez - Nolan Ryan Rangers Minor League Pitcher of the Year
I bet he doesn't ...
If the Rangers get officially forked in the next ten days and he gets better then he has to play a few re-hab games, and come back and play 2 weeks and strike out and hit weak grounders like last time. It takes him a while to get going.
WHY BOTHER? If the Rangers are burnt toast by then let’s see the young guys play. Hammy has had his chance, and it didn’t go well.

From a logical standpoint that might be the right move
But they’d have to be REALLY out of it for that to be remotely acceptable in the clubhouse. If they are 5 games back with 2 weeks to play or whatever.. particularly good for the team or not he will be back.
Anyway its kind of hard to judge though.. because who knows whats going on with some kind of leg pain and bad reaction along with the back.. I think theres a chance he will play when we get back to arlington but yeah it could end up being a long time.
the preceding post was a great success.
