Playoff tickets on sale - STH presale this morning
The season ticket holder presale started at 9am this morning - game 1 ALDS only. A code was sent to season ticket holders for purchasing up to four seats.
For me, this was a big step forward toward a building playoff frenzy. Although we are still on the outside, hitting refresh every three seconds to be able to buy seats was somewhat exhilarating.
I ended up with four aisle seats Section 25/Row 26.
How did you do?

I'm too poor to afford season tickets.
Thanks for rubbing it in :)

I'm not a season ticket holder -- not sure why I got the password emailed to me
But I got a couple of tickets in Section 327 row 8. It’s weird to me that this is even an option right now…

Won't work now. You had to sign up by Sept. 7th.

Can you tell us how much your tickets cost per seat?
Looks like the regular season price for those are $20 ($25 for premier game)…
I’m curious how much they are jacking up the prices for the postseason.
Thanks.

$30 each
plus $6 service fees per ticket. Plus $1.75 order processing. So my total was $73.75 for 2 tickets.

Sweet hopefully these tickets I printed out and hung on the wall will actually be used!
I’m thinking we should have an LSB pregame party somewhere close to the ballpark.

So our lineup this morning....
LF Julio Borbon

2B Ian Kinsler
CF Marlon Byrd
RF Nelson Cruz
DH David Murphy
C Ivan Rodriguez
1B Chris Davis

Quick question I always wondered about playoffs tickets
If they dont make it do you get your money back?
Yes you can
Or, what they will suggest, is you put it toward tickets for next year
Bryan Smith (12:17:17 PM PT): Justin Smoak and Josh Hamilton. The AL West might just have found their Bash Brothers, v. 2.0.
What my application said...
is that the refund will automatically be credited to next years tickets… but you can request a refund. I read something yesterday that said it would automatically be credited back to your cc… but I can’t find it again.
Here you go
http://texas.rangers.mlb.com/tex/ticketing/postseason.jsp
Refund Information
Refunds will be automatic and go back to the credit card used 4 to 6 weeks following the conclusion of the 2009 Postseason.

Hey Lisa
I sat with you guys all last week… no clue where our tix are yet, but hopefully we will be out with you guys for the OAK series.
Awesome!
As far as I know all four of us have all three games (Thomas and I definitely do, but we’re a lot quieter without Stephen and Cindy!). Tomorrow night we’re in 34 (used an upgrade voucher).

I think. We’re taking the kids plus Shawna’s brother’s fam and her mom. Maybe we’ll catch a HR ball, though. My son sure hopes so.

Impressive.
Of course, not having a job sort of hampers my ability to buy better seats than the upper deck right now.

How many of you bought some extras to sell on eBay, Craigslist, etc.?
If so, where are they and how much do you think you’ll get for them?
apparently yes :(
