The deal, according to sources, cuts owner Tom Hicks almost entirely out of the picture. He will be a partner with Greenberg and Ryan, but his ownership share will be very small, sources said, and his spot on the new board of directors is in question.

The best part of this whole thing
is Hicks role… He keeps his spot on the board as chairman emeritus, but not because he owns a controlling interest in the team, but because he kept 42 acres of the land around RBiA and Cowboys stadium that HSG owns… Thats it! So, other than running the sprinklers and contracting with CSC, Hicks is all but out of the picture…. Loving it.
