Rangers interested in Colby Lewis?
I, personally, don't understand the thoughts behind this possible move. The Rangers already have quality depth for the rotation and the 'pen for which Colby Lewis adds neither.

He's been so good in Japan
that I’m at least a little intrigued by his potential as a starter at this point. He’s presumably healthy and he’s commanding the ball, and those were always his two biggest issues.
I would rather
have Garland or Sheets than Lewis. but if we can get both Lewis and Garland im fine with that.

didn't you say the same about edwin jackson last year?
and yes i realize his peripherals and 2nd half give reason to doubt future performance, but he had a very good year from a results standpoint.
not sure what my point is other than i enjoy engaging you in debate, since your know-it-all tone somehow gets under my skin far more than it should.
I'm not a fan of Edwin Jackson, no.
And I’m even less a fan of bringing in a 30 y/o who couldn’t make it in baseball until he went to freaking Japan.
If the Rangers were in the playoffs... the soundtrack could be one long continuous fart, and I would love it. - cmkelly

Better than Kuroda or Kamakami
for reference.
