Official NFL week 5 thread of GOT DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR?
Post here if you wanna talk about NFL.
Seems to me the last thing the Cowboys need is the Giants to be as good as I thought they might.
BTW, when does each Cowboys game become not "must win" status? Pretty sure slipping to 1-3 is death to playoff hopes, so this week is another must win.
I suppose at 2-2 you can kind of, barely, afford a loss.
I feel pretty good about beating the Titans at home (even though they're yet another in our never ending schedule of good teams), but very wary of Vikings on the road next week the way they handled us last year :/ Hopefully we catch them before they get untracked,
Oh and damnit, I forgot to do pick em and now it's too late. So there goes my low week I guess.

GB now up 13-3 on Washington
Damn the NFL is a low scoring, low play league. Takes adjusting too after a weekend of college games, that say a 17-7 lead in the 3rd quarter is generally insurmountable in the NFL.
I'm not sure about that...
I think that was just an example of maybe defenses figuring GB out a bit with no running game (even though BJack did pretty well) and Washington’s lack of offense. Besides Indy/KC, every other game was a high scoring affair.
Hah
Texans just got gouged on a illegall hands to the face penalty that looked like the refs thought they were wearing Cowboys uniforms. Hands were nowhere near the face.
Funny how the announcers jump all over and highlight BS penalties against the Texans though, but never mention them at all when it’s the Cowboys.
Well when you committ 12/133.
You don’t really have to be selective. Though that celebration one was questionable.
3-2 and fading fast
Looks like Matt Schaub’s dreams of finally making the playoffs after all these years slipping away yet again…
wow
this game is going to be a disaster
garret comes away with no points after driving inside the other teams 40 than any oc in the history of the universe
Brees had a bad day too...
I think they’re both really good QBs. GB had Jermichael Finley go out early with injury and no running game. NO is missing Bush, and Betts is no Pierre Thomas.
this game is over
so is the cowboys season

Start throwing now Garret you douche
Oh wait, if he did that wait for the barrage on talk radio “The Cowboys lost cause Garret doesnt run up the middle for 2 yards enough !!!1111”
Wow
Buehler from 51.
I thought sure the retard Cowboys were going to punt AGAIN from no mans land, and I was gonna scream…
What a surprise
An absolutely crucial penalty at an absolutely crucia down ad juncture gives the Titans a scoring drive to put the game away.
I’m shocked, really.
Announcers “this is the third first down so far for Tenessee by penalty”.
I’m shocked
And of course the crucial penalty on third down happens to put Tenesse in scoring position
And they score a TD and the game is over.
Not that the refs did it on purpose or anything.
we'll win this
probably like 27-24

Garrett better open it up now and not look back
If anything I see us mounting a wild comeback, then losing a heartbreaker. It’s the Cowboys way. They want to torture me.
lol @ Matt Moore's numbers

I can't believe I thought they would upset the Bears at home...
with no Cutler. Terrible pick.

15 yard iunnecessary roughness at a crucial time
37 penalties for 486 yards so far against Dallas, zero on Tenessee.
haha, 2nd and 42

Was there any aspect of this game where they didn't have huge mental mistakes?
Let the defense of Wade begin again.

What?
It’s predictable that I would call your unrelenting bit predictable? That’s so…profound.

Not profound at all, just obvious.
If my “bit” is pointing out that Wade is a bad coach, your bit is being a pusillanimous little prick whose only real attempt at contribution to any subject is to act like you’re smarter than whomever you are attempting to engage without adding a bit of substance to any conversation.
Have you actually graduated from law school yet? If so, I’d absolutely love the opportunity to hear you perform in a trial. I’m sure you’d connect with an average Texas jury in a very “profound” way.

Whistle.
First of all, you probably need to calm down. The seething rage from your posts makes you seem like a good candidate to stroke out.
Second, no, I haven’t graduated yet. I don’t particularly think trial work is my strength, so I suppose you’ve got me there. Of course, I don’t know how many first year trial lawyers are very good anyway, but whatever, I guess you can certainly beat me in a trial lawyer dick measuring contest (even though you are in Sherman).
Third, I don’t really see how I’m trying to act smarter than anyone here. I just don’t respect your opinion, is all. It’s boring, repetitive, and only exists when the Cowboys lose, which makes you a shitty fan.
But please, rage on. And certainly don’t let me stop you from constructing wonderful strawmen. I know I can barely get through a single thread around here without being bombarded on all sides by Wade supporters. The level of respect and reverence shown that man frankly sickens me. When will people wake up and realize that he’s not the greatest coach in Dallas history? Maybe it’s just me, but he should probably be on the hotseat!

No rage dick head.
I’m simply treating you with the respect you’ve earned around here. I love reading snarky posts by smug little bastards who think they’re exceptionally brighter than they actually are.
I applaud your decision to avoid the courtroom. You typically have to back up your bullshit in that environment. It’s much safer to be a snide jackass when you never actually have to stand up and defend something or someone. I find it amusing that you think you’re worth anybody measuring “dicks” of any kind with you. You actually have to “matter” in the greater scheme of things first. Until then, you are “dickless”.
You have no respect for my opinion, good for you. I have no respect for you, period. A proven liar that’s nothing but snide comments and a false sense of intellectualism. Hell, you probably have more contempt for yourself than anybody else ever could. So you keep right on being snarky on a chat board if that inflates your sense of self pride enough to help you get the gun out of your mouth every morning and slog through the day. This is the last I’ll address either you or that subject.

The last, eh? Perfect opportunity for the last word!
I love reading snarky posts by smug little bastards who think they’re exceptionally brighter than they actually are.
I don’t think I’m all that bright, so there goes that theory.
You actually have to "matter" in the greater scheme of things first. Until then, you are "dickless".
Weird. I can’t matter until I get in the courtroom, but you can still insult my skills before? Well, the burden of knowing the intimate details of another’s soul from their musings on a baseball blog must be great. I mean, I wouldn’t presume to know who you are, but then I’m just some dickless guy. And I also wouldn’t presume to know how to defend the monster who got busted pissing on the side of Cellarman’s. That’s for you, the modern-day Clarence Darrow.
I have no respect for you, period. A proven liar that’s nothing but snide comments and a false sense of intellectualism.
Your only comments on LSB are about Wade Phillips being a shitty football coach. Give me the snide commenter over that boring shit. Of course, you do have the ultimate package: snide commenting about Wade Phillips.
Hell, you probably have more contempt for yourself than anybody else ever could. So you keep right on being snarky on a chat board if that inflates your sense of self pride enough to help you get the gun out of your mouth every morning and slog through the day.
Yes, you have no idea the power that snark gives me. Being able to reign supreme over the troglodyte “Athos” is all I live for!

Wow
This SF team is imploding. I haven’t heard this lusty of booing by a home crowd in a long time.
And lol, they’re chanting they want Carr. I wish Singletary would put Carr in so he could fail too.
We all know it will change nothing, the QB doesn’t matter at all.
I think it would be fitting if Wade and Norv got fired on the same day
