molina

even if he don’t retire…and the rangers offer and he declines arb…anybody gonna give up those draft picks for him?

vlad?

Draft Picks

I don’t see anyone giving up picks for any of our guys other than Lee. I suspect the others will all have problems finding a home if they are offered arb.

I think teams will be willing to sign FX2

Especially if they are only giving up a 2nd rounder or worse, based on draft position and other signings.

Interesting

I now believe we see Frankie back here next year, as his agent will instruct him to accept arbitration.. Lee and Vlad will be offered and decline arb, Bengie won’t be offered it but I expect he will reach an agreement with the organization.

Why would Frankie accept arb

when someone will likely give him a 3 year deal?

Likely?

It’s sure pretty to think so.

Can’t say I see multiyear happening at all.

Not happening with his injuries...

he’s going to have to take a 1 year deal and try to build up his value.

Teams are going to be very hesitant to sign him since he’s a type A. Think about Juan Cruz a couple years ago. Fx2 is in a similar situation now I think.

Yep

maybe a crappy team that believes they’re closer than everyone else thinks and sees him as a closer… in which case we’d get a supp+second. Which I’d be happy with.
