NL gets two advantages vs the AL team with Home Field Advantage in the World Series.
I've always liked how the AL and N:L had it's differences with the DH/non-DH rules as a way to "seperate" the leagues. After further thought, the NL needs to adopt the DH to even the playing field for the World Series. The NL won't do this voluntarily of course because they would be loosing their advantage over the AL in the World Series. When a NL team has home field advantage in the World Series, they get an additional advantage because of the non-DH rule. When an AL team plays in the NL park, they are forced to play with one hand tied behind their back. When the NL team plays in the AL park, they get to add an extra hitter to their lineup. Either the NL should adopt the DH or when the play at an AL park, they should still play by their own rules and bat the pitcher. I know that this has been around for a long time, but I think there's enough evidence to show this unfair advantage. I dodn't have the stats on hand, but I know one of you out there can do the research. I would like to see the stats collected pertaining to this argument to see what the stats say abotu this.

Disagree.
Yes, pitchers batting is an advantage to the NL at home, but NL teams don’t carry sluggers on the bench to be DH’s during the regular season. Doesn’t make sense to carry that contract in the NL.
Looking at it from the opposite angle, the AL has a big advantage at home because they usually get to add a big quality bat to the lineup, while the NL team has to choose from a collection of bench players. For example, last night, although Huff technically DH’d, the real bat being added to the lineup for the Giants was Ishikawa… not exactly going to inspire the same fear offensively that Vlad does by being in the lineup (regardless of results last night).
Both teams have advantages and weaknesses they have to play with when they go from home to road and vice versa. That’s just how it goes
it comes down to
How a team has played all year. It’s not much of an adjustment to add another hitter compared to having to play without a DH.
I have little sympathy for teams that depend greatly on a DH that can't play the field
when you sign a guy, you know what you’re getting into. Everyone knows that if you are going to the World Series, you have to bench your DH or put him in the field. This isn’t a new rule. This is reality.
