OT: College Football (Championship Week)

Obviously we know the big championship games this weekend.

1. SEC: Auburn vs. South Carolina at the Georgia Dome (Auburn only a 4.5 point favorite interests me against a 3 loss SC team. I know SC pushed them last time, but Auburn is supposed to be the best team in the country)

2. Big 12: Oklahoma vs. Nebraska. Sad to see this rivalry go away. It sucked that the Big 12 put it on a rotating basis and now with Nebraska leaving who knows when we'll see it again.

3. ACC: Florida St. vs. Va Tech: Nice rebound for Va Tech after the Boise St./James Madison debacle. I found it funny that everyone hammered Utah for losing at Notre Dame following the loss to TCU, but most people ignored that Va. Tech choked against 1AA James Madison after losing to Boise. I suppose that falls under the when the loss occured category. Florida St. needed help get into the game so we'll see how it turns out for them with the Colleyville Heritage alum at the helm.

4. Not an official championship game but Oregon rolls into Corvallis to play the Beavers. TCU fans are rooting hardcore for Cocks and Beavers this weekend. Hooray!!!

Also inculded:

SMU gets a shot at the CUSA title.

Boise St. gets to take their frustrations out on poor Utah St.

Nevada has to focus playing La. Tech on the road.

UConn can wrap up the Big East with a win over S. Florida. If not W. Virginia needs to beat Rutgers to go the BCS.
