I really think that this is a case of praising Philly fans more than a case of slamming other team’s fans. He could be talking about any number of cities where he has played – for and against.
Considering where he's played in his career
Cleveland, Philly, Seattle, Texas – I can definitely see how he’d think the Phillies fans the most energetic of that bunch.

His whole plan was to go back to Philadelphia if they showed any interest and could be competitive with money. They were… he was/is a Phillie. Agent and Cliff played everybody perfectly. He had no interest in the Yankees and only would come back back here for silly money.
That is his right and I have no problem with that.
