Former Rangers 3rd Base Coach Steve Smith
Former Rangers 3rd Base coach is on this season of The Amazing Race! It's been awhile since I've seen Steve around, I believe he was with the Phillies last year and the Indians the year before. I wish him the best of luck on this 16th season of TAR! Check the link out or go to www.cbs.com/amazingrace to read more about this new season of The Amazing Race and Steve Smith and his daughter on TAR!

Love The Amazing Race
Of all the reality game shows this is the one I would actually want to do sometime in life
Bryan Smith (12:17:17 PM PT): Justin Smoak and Josh Hamilton. The AL West might just have found their Bash Brothers, v. 2.0.
Same here
My favorite of all time…I own all of the seasons. I would really really really love to go on the show, but you have to be at least 25 years old and be of some crazy characteristic to make the show work for all people.

I would love to do either that or Survivor at that point.

LOL
They are supposed to have a local event such as that down here in Austin.
Anyone I believe can sign up. It’s like a huge scavenger hunt. My wife found out about it today.
Apparently some org. from out of town sets it all up so no one can get an uneven advantage. I have no idea when it is suppose to take place or the details, but I’m a little excited. My wife is uber-pumped about it and is going to try and sign us up. A co-worker of hers and her daughter did it last year and they send an email out when they are having sign ups.

Yeah, he seemed pretty cantankerous if I recall.
And his holding/sending runners seemed to be below average.
He might be a great guy, wish him luck.

he's a third base coach
there’s not much to that job! I had no feelings of remorse over him leaving. i liked the guy.

Know who else would be good on this show?
Mike Bascik.

Leave the trash in the landfill ranger. No need to bring it here.

No need for your comment
Some people actually care to hear any news regarding former Rangers players and coaches. Shut it

Calm down...
I don’t think that shot was directed at you.

I’m one of the coolest customers here when it comes to comments. When I have a comment like the one I did it is usually a joke. No ill-will in my posts so no need to get persnickerdy.
Is that how you spell it? My mom uses that word all the time and I always try to use it. Heh

I think he was referring to txranger7, not you.

In all honesty this little subthread
has gone every direction but right.
And I’ve never heard the word persnickety until now. Firefox helped me spell it correctly.

Thanks for the spell check. T instead of D.
And it has. I think having three ranger names in the same subthread has messed with some universe somehow.

Did anyone actually watch this?
Steve and his daughter really had me cringing at one point. One of the tasks involved finding a specific building which they had to paint in order to receive their next clue. While over thinking the game, Steve and his daughter started going inside random homes and even painted an entire room as some confused Chilean laborers laughed at them. After Steve finished painting the room he looked to the laborers for a clue and they just shrugged their shoulders and giggled.
It was bad….but, they made it to the next round.
It was hilarious
The locals were just laughing, and laughing at them.
