The tsunami and CNN's Rick Sanchez

So, I was watching CNN this afternoon to see what was happening with the tsunami that was heading to Hawaii.  Fortunately, it seems to have been insignificant.

However, I did learn that there is somebody named Rick Sanchez who works at CNN who was involved in the tsunami coverage.  I'm not sure who he is or what he does, but based on the way he acted, particularly when "interviewing" the tsunami expert (although the interview consisted more of yelling at him), led me to wonder if he really needed to have any on-screen position there.

Did anyone else see that?
