LSB March Madness Pick 'em
I can re-start the pick 'em league from last year. Anyone mind if I do? Too late, I just did. A bunch of you should have invites in your inbox.
If you're not already in and want to be, you can follow this link and put in the password "ajm."
I need more words. Um. Have fun and good luck. Discuss the conference tournaments here, I guess.
Six more words are needed, ugh.

The top 4 teams
Going out on a limb there
We need to not always make hard work out of sex- Rick Carlisle.
Ha, yeah, well I never put Duke in my final 4, no matter what
And usually don’t put the top 4 teams, but are there any other teams capable of making a serious run?
I'm not a Baylor guy
but I think they could make a run. They are long and athletic with a couple of great guards. They’ll be a tough team in the tourney imo.
Ohio State could make a run with that Evan Turner kid.
A baseball game is simply a nervous breakdown divided into nine innings.
I'm probably picking Kentucky to go out faster than most other people.
We’ll see how that works out.
Let's see
I think West Virginia/Tennessee/Michigan St could all make things interesting
We need to not always make hard work out of sex- Rick Carlisle.
WSU's about to go 1-and-1 in the Pac 10 tournament because they can't hit freethrows.
I should have picked my school based on athletics.
I'm still curdling in disbelief
from Louisville’s Elite 8 loss last year, practically picked a perfect bracket till then.
Remember to retire Fin's number, Mark.
Aggies in the Final Four, anyone?
If you don’t pick them to go at least that far, you are officially a loser.
im in
woooo
Scout: He was a first-round pick right? Got a huge bonus?
KG: Oh yeah.
Scout: Well, he spent a lot of it on milkshakes.
Just did mine...
I’ve got a Final 4 of Kansas, Kentucky, Pitt, and Villanova.
Took Villanova over Kansas in the title game.
Let the games begin.

You're kidding right? It better not be who I think it is.

Okay...
if it’s BYU that’s a pretty big gamble.
I don’t think they’ve won a tourney game since WWII and imo they aren’t athletic enough to go far. They do have very good guard play though. I still have Florida taking them out in round one.

7th in the KenPom's.
Better than every team they’d face until Syracuse, at which point they’d be playing in Salt Lake City and ’Cuse may well be short a center.
I certainly think there’s no increased accuracy in ignoring statistics for history. Not that I feel more than 51% confident.
I should point out this is by far the least confident final four team I've got, and I could change it.
It’s just the same strategies and research that have helped me in the past have me picking BYU much farther than I ever have, and I usually find it counterproductive to total points if I start abandoning those strategies.
I could easily see them losing as early as the second round and any number of teams winning that bracket, though. I like Syracuse, but I like their competition, too, and losing a center (or even having 50% of one) can be rough.
Well...
it sounds like you spend a lot more time with your picks than I do and are more scientific about it too.
I just get the bracket and have at it. I’ve watched a lot of the teams play and seen shows breaking things down, but that’s about it.
I know if they make it to SLC they’d be tough, but I just can’t see that happening. I’ve seen them play a lot this year and they don’t strike me as a FF type team. Who knows though, a lot can happen in a single elimination tourney.

Kansas Sate is the game that worries me the most.
In OKC. That game is the one that’s killing me the most right now because I think the winner will probably win another game or two after that and it’s rough to try and pick between two really close teams.
I think KSU’s experience might win out now.
