Wish we had been hearing more about Martin this spring
I know hes young but I wonder why he hasn’t gotten any game action with the big club this spring. not even a 8th or 9th inning.
Bryan Smith (12:17:17 PM PT): Justin Smoak and Josh Hamilton. The AL West might just have found their Bash Brothers, v. 2.0.
"I'll let you know when he does anything less than spectacular."
Sounds like everything I want to hear. And given the intensity of competition for major-league pitching spots, and where Perez is, I don’t have any problem with how they’re bringing him along…
I read that little blurb and understand why they are doing what they are doing

If Omar Poveda pitched JIC innings last year ...
and CWun has been told to expect JIC innings this spring, you’d think Martin might get some of that JIC action later in the month.
JIC?

In fact why isn’t he getting consideration for the starter job in camp. Screw Salty and teagarden I want my DiFazigod right now.

Is Profar really looking like the 6th best prospect in this system? Professor Parks observations don't sound all that sparking at this point.
Pro baseball has always been a dream, so this is pretty freakin’ cool out here. -- Tim Steggall, undrafted Rangers minor leaguer.
Magico's reports on him reminds me of reading about Engel

IIRC, he told me that one of the Latin America kids slapped him with the "El Magico" nickname
I’m doing my part to help disseminate it, primarily because it’s awesome.

Is Joey really rocking Harry Pearce as the avatar?
Oh man my opinion of you has gone up even higher. Great choice sir.
Yes
Great show. I’m hooked. Only watched from episodes 5.1 through 6.5 so far, though. Peter Firth is wonderful.

The first couple of seasons
are worth getting on Netflix or the like. Do yourself a favor and go back. You won’t regret it.
What are we talking about here?

MI-5
the fantastic BBC drama about the British version of the FBI. The avatar is one of the main characters. Harry Pearce rocks.
Really though if you’re looking for a good tv show for netflix you should give it a try. Like HBO shows they’re right around an hour straight and seasons are 13 episodes. Chock full of action and great characters/plot ti deserves to be seen by others.
Ah... Assuming it's the show I'm thinking of I rented the first two discs of season one a while back and couldn't get into it.
N’Flix has the first two seasons available to watch instantly, so perhaps I’ll give it another shot.

Since we are talking
about TV shows here, I will put this two links here…

Heh, agreed
I’m tryin’!
"Back on the scene, with a gangsta lean" RW
"When you have a weapon on your shoulder like he has, you can be cool." RW on Perez
And the little bastard threw it for a swinging strike three in a 3-2 count. He’s blessed. And ballsy.
Awesome nickname.

Best question/answer in the comments for those that missed it
Question for Jason: Why are you so terrific? Is it a metaphysical zen-like state of Good or more of the lunchbox, punch the clock type of Good? Any truth to the rumors of performance enhancing drugs?
