Just a heads up
I'm going to be gone tomorrow, as well, so be prepared for a season ending injury or a major trade or some other bombshell to come down the pipe.

Impeccable

And the little bastard threw it for a swinging strike three in a 3-2 count. He’s blessed. And ballsy.
How about a 5 game suspension for Cliff Lee to start the season?
Has that already been discussed in another thread? Only 1 start, but I’ll take it.
doesn't really effect the Rangers
who are scheduled to play the M’s the first weekend. Instead of Felix on Sat and Lee on Sun, it’ll be the other way around – still face both.

It affects the Rangers because a team that may well be in contention with them for the playoffs will have a starting pitcher miss a game.
But yeah, it’s not much of an affect. Like, what, 1/5th of a win?
true,
the Rangers will get to face the Ms #6 starter on that Friday

The good thing is
it’s not necessarily bad things that happen while Adam is out. Harden signed, for example. But it does seem like something almost always happens.
seriously - has NOBODY posted the Wash Dugout Dance gif?
i’m disappointed.

I'm getting really annoyed by the MLB Network.
They’re using phrases like “look what he did!” when talking about the improved defense and win increase.
yep
“look at Joel Piniero, he’s so good he allowed allowed one SB last year.”

It sure seems like you complain...
about the MLB network a lot.
We all realize it’s not perfect and some really dumb things are said there but it beats the hell out of the alternative doesn’t it?

I'm not sure it's much better
when they feature Greg Emsinger (sp) and Mitch Williams so often. And Harold Reynolds for that matter.

You can compare that
to ESPN wasting time pn Baseball tonight with Bob Knight and Dickie V.
And yes, it was a bigger trainwreck than it sounds.

Report: Ron Washington was being blackmailed
Randy Galloway of the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram drops a bomb in last night’s column: Ron Washington and the Rangers were being blackmailed over his positive cocaine test.

Good grief, this is like a bad movie.

ahh, maybe so
I’m too dumb to pick up on something like that.
