when California’s voters will most likely make it legal. Not that it’s a problem to get anyway, I can go down the street and buy some anytime but it’s nice to know you can buy a little extra with no worries :)

I don't have a strong view one way or another on weed
I just think it’s dumb that substances with slight side-effects such as steroids/marijuana are illegal, when other substances with significantly greater social costs and side-effects like tobacco/alcohol are no problem.
People can weigh the costs of minor decisions like these. Gov should focus on cocaine/heroin/meth— the drugs that really bring down society.

Yep
I’d rather make it all legal. The government really needs to focus much more on the demand side of the equation and not the supply in the drug war. Pot is just not a big problem in my view.

He does a video mailbag with Nolan. I really liked how Nolan said he is letting the pitching coaches do their work and just trying to be available if the pitchers have a question… really makes you feel like he gets it.
It was hard...
to make it through the first minute or so of that video mailbag. They both sounded like 14 year old boys with their voices cracking and stuttering all over the place.

Looks like you need to school TR as to whether or not McCarthy can be sent to the minors without clearing waivers…. But, probably not worth the time or effort

I just can't see the Rangers doing that
Since they’ve pretty much decided before ST they were going to take it slower with him because of the injury. He might be ahead of schedule, but it’d still probably be safer starting him off in the minors.

70 steals is asking for a lot
But he did a great job last year on the basepaths and I think even then, he had room for improvement given his speed. The two things that could hold him back are his OBP and whether or not he is given the greenlight that many times.
