The Major League Return of Former Ranger Josh Rupe
Former Rangers reliever Josh Rupe, who missed out on being on the Kansas City Royals' Opening Day roster when the Royals claimed former Rangers reliever Luis Mendoza, has been called up to the majors by the Royals.
The surprisingly part about this is that Mendoza isn't the one being dropped to make room for Rupe...instead, it is reliever Roman Colon who has been designated for assignment...
Congrats to Rupe on making it back to the bigs...
And what the heck, congrats to Dozer for being able to stay on the 25 man roster...

thank god they're not our problem
A baseball game is simply a nervous breakdown divided into nine innings.
I like the picture goET

Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!
Is Tejeda still on the Royals?
That bullpen is pretty soon going to be half Ranger cast-offs
Go Rice Owls!
too bad they don't have Jamey Wright anymore
where did Jennings go?

I think Jennings is in the minors for the A's

I remember that horrid Reno 911 skit
that CJ did. Rupe is there in the trucker’s hat and a speedo. Pasty white and tatted up like my meth head cousin. Bad, bad image.

Who is Josh Rupe?
Assets
Will pitch in whatever role is asked of him and is a great teammate. Can be very effective in the minor leagues.
Flaws
Gets hit incredibly hard, walks too many batters and doesn’t own a quality strikeout pitch for the big leagues. Has a history of elbow problems.

Mendoza has some nice stats, 3IP, 8ER, 3 Jacks. Sure do miss him.
I thought it be all warm and shitty, but it just tasted like normal beer. It was still cold.
I feel so sorry for the Royals
Dozer + Rupe = two dudes who throw pretty hard but have zero things else going for them
Feliz says his greatest thrill was striking out Boston Red Sox DH David Ortiz, one of his heroes. Yet, when he called to tell his parents, his mother had a request: Strike out New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, too.
"So when I did that," Feliz says, "I told my mom, 'There you go. There's your present. Don't ask me to strike anyone else out, OK?'
I think Rupe was our best pitching prospect a few years ago, thankfully times have changed.

And congrats to the Rangers...
on them not being with the team anymore.
