Buster_ESPN Tanner Scheppers was promoted by the Rangers to Class AAA. His numbers in Class AA: 11 innings, three hits, 1 ER, 19 Ks -- and zero walks.
Will post a link as soon as I find one. Don't see it reported anywhere else.
I wonder how Buster got this while Sullivan and Grant didn't.

that place is crazy how busy it can get. Do they still have an overflow restaurant across the street? Of course, like Joe T’s in Ft. Worth, I wasn’t all that impressed with the food, especially considering the wait.

With BMac on the DL
and Hunter’s status possibly being ‘on rehab assignment’ they might not need to drop anybody – just add Scheppers to the roster. We’ll see.
the OKC transaction list reads:
Texas Rangers optioned RHP Tommy Hunter to Oklahoma City RedHawks.
So, yeah, but still … there’s only active 23 guys on the roster including Hunter … maybe they can add Schep at 24 and be legal.
Jenkins, BMac, Smoak, Max have come off the OKC active roster
Salty, Davis, Scheppers, Hunter have been added. I think that’s right. hmm

(work in Ten, weather was awful, took 3 hours to drive 45mins…)
They asked Buster who was his next big thing to bust onto the baseball season. Last season he picked Strasburg around this time, today he said Scheppers.
I expected Scheppers to pitch like he did in the AZ Fall league
Look lights out for an inning but then give up a walk and a bomb the next inning. Inconsistency is what I expected the first half of the season – hoped he would work thru all that, develop better command and be useful near the end of the season. Way ahead of all that.

He has had some occasions where he’s gotten behind and come back to get guys, but his command (and the consistency of his command in particular, as you said) is way past what I expected.
