iTunes is a little weird
It takes a while for the “list” to be updated, but if you do a refresh – the file will download even if it is not listed.
"I like to pretend any lawyer wearing a cowboy hat on my TV is The Newberg, and then I yell "LEMON!" at ‘em and then I like to pretend that he’s getting real mad inside of the TV about it and then I like to pretend that I won and that therefor I’m a big handsome winner, and then sometimes I’ll fall asleep." -- thedirkatron
Hey Adam
How has Harden, in your opinion, alienated himself from the media? Is there a specific instance you’re referring to?

Probably the one where he sucked so badly that it wasn’t even worth talking to him.
The Juan Pierre sucks cliche
is a bit overdone. It’s become an internet, baseball statgeek cliche to compare someone to Pierre in an insulting way, but Pierre had some decent years and was a player with value, with above average defense and a positive contribution with the bat when he was with the Marlins. Without looking, guess Pierre’s career OBP. I’ll bet you guessed lower.
The Cubs, who gave up way too much in trade, and the Dodgers, who paid far too much in dollars, way overvalued Pierre. But that doesn’t mean he is or was worthless. Because those two teams so overvalued him he’s carried this perception of being completely useless and it just isn’t so.

HAHAHA, this is my first time.
Adam, your voice, and that first line… genius.

Thank you to everybody for the
“kick-ass” commitment.
I assume, because of very obvious reasons, there will be nothing in this podcast about purple hoodies or how Tom Hicks has fucked the shit out of this organization.

Things got...

I enjoyed it a lot.

Greatness is AJM announcing he has a "dream" deadline deal in which we give another team an entire seven-man bullpen, naming the players he'd give up....
And then he doesn’t even have anyone he’d want in return in that deal.
That’s quality.
