Richard Justice of the Houston Chronicle writes that, once the Rangers sale is completed, Nolan Ryan is going to hire Gerry Hunsicker to join the Rangers.

He doesn't say in what capacity...but Hunsicker's role with the Rays is basically the same role that Nolan Ryan is supposed to have with the Rangers, once the Greenberg/Ryan group finishes their purchase.  So it wouldn't seem to make sense for Hunsicker to be hired to fill that capacity.

Which would seem to suggest that Justice thinks Ryan would be bringing Hunsicker in to be the general manager of the Rangers.
