From Elias: The Orioles defeated the Rangers on Sunday culminating one of the most unlikely four-game sweeps in major-league history. It was only the second four-game sweep on the road in major-league history in which the winning team entered the series more than 30 games below .500 and the losing team entered the series more than 15 games above .500. The first instance occurred in September 1950, when the St. Louis Browns swept a four-game set from the Indians at Cleveland Municipal Stadium.
