Observer: The Texas Rangers Thrive while Owner Tom Hicks' Sports Empire Crumbles

Not much in the way of new information, but it does a good job of getting an all-inclusive time line. Understandably, neither the players nor JD are willing to criticize Hicks in the article, but CJ is clear on who he wants:
At the risk of offending a potential employer once Hicks is out of the picture, pitcher C.J. Wilson's open about who the next Rangers owner should be.
"I would prefer if Chuck Greenberg's the owner because I've had interaction with him, and he seems like a very positive, motivated guy," he says. "And I love Nolan, so obviously that's my horse in the race."

In the interest of quicker games Ron should just tell the ump he's pulling the Feliz card and the ump should rule the inning over.--Sherman McCoy on Sept. 4, 2009

So confused
I thought the unsecured class was going to be totally paid off by the prepackage. Weren’t they considered unimpaired very early on?
I know that doesn’t preclude them objecting, as apparently nothing prevents anyone from doing so, but it does confused me as to WHY they would object.
