Mechanics
All sorts of talk on MLB Network Radio about Strasburg’s mechanics. Specifically the Inverted W was brought up, also comparisons to Prior and Wood. Where was all this talk before he got injured?

there was a lot of this talk before he was drafted
but he’s still a talent you take a chance on.

i think they are being extremely cautious more than anything
they were about to shut him down soon once he reaches his innings limit so now he’ll most likely just finish up a little later

The only way I support the acquistion
Is if he’s merely here to have Arias sent down and to be our RH bench bat.
Even if we get a player like Prince or Dunn, we will have fixed our 1b option, but not our need for a RH bench bat.

The O’s should get a little better over the next couple years, then, as Buck tries to assert himself as the GM, trainer, pitching coach, and anything else he can, he’ll piss off half the team, and Angelos will fire him.
