Derek Holland recalled, Pedro Strop optioned

PrintPer Evan Grant, the Rangers have recalled Derek Holland, who is starting today, and have optioned Pedro "The Audacity of" Strop to AAA.
Strop has a very good arm and has been terrific in the minors, but for whatever reason, continues to be awful when he's in the majors.

He killed in OKC obviously, but also seems like a see him in person to appreciate it guy.

Command looked very questionable
but it could have been jitters. Reports from OKC are that he’s not anywhere near that wild.The stuff is definitely there but he was getting hit hard, hanging pitches pretty regularly.

He was hitting the bottom of the strike zone
but the ump was still calling it as a ball yesterday.

is the Chris Davis of our pitching staff. It is amazing to watch someone with such great stuff get hit so hard.

This whole time I was baffled about the roster moves we made having Strop here, when I thought we had put someone (Harden?) on the DL to clear a 25 man spot for Holland. I guess I didn’t realize that Holland was just in Tampa chilling, but not on the 25 man. Fuck me, right?
