Per the S-T, the Rangers have made a flurry of moves, activating Nelson Cruz from the disabled list, optioning Brandon Boggs, and recalling Craig Gentry and putting him on the 15 day disabled list. The S-T says that the Rangers are contemplating using Gentry as a pinch runner later in the season, even though he has a cast on his hand. Also, having Gentry on the d.l. now increases the team's flexibility for maneuvering with the post-season roster.
