He's probably an above-average LF.

But Hamilton is below-average in CF.

I think Josh is an average center fielder

Not sure what the benefit of Endy is in LF though. Does the upgrade at a corner OF spot really cover the downgrade at the plate over Murph?

Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good.

by Bface on Oct 15, 2011 4:13 PM CDT via mobile up reply actions

Only average to below average?

My only question with Endy in LF is Josh’s leg… Is it okay?

If you’re going to play Endy anyway, seems like an opportunity to protect Josh a little bit.

These make good pies.

In other words, Wash isn’t going to wisen up and let Harry start tomorrow instead of Colby

by Jobu. on Oct 15, 2011 4:06 PM CDT reply actions

I definitely get it if Holland struggles early

I was just hoping to see an audible with Harrison starting tomorrow over Colby.

by Jobu. on Oct 15, 2011 4:09 PM CDT up reply actions

I'd bet Feldman would be first out if Holland struggles...

I’d imagine Harrison is available for a depleted pen in extra innings situation. IF there’s a Game 7, I’d bet Harrison would be out there if Colby looks like he has nothing.

Exactly...

I am feeling really confident about this game, because even if Holland blows, Wash can bring:
Feldman, Harrison, Oliver, Ogando, Adams, Feliz. That’s six innings or more of likely scoreless relief. If the Rangers get a lead at any point, Detroit is in real trouble.

If Benoit is used

the Rangers need to tee off on him. There is no way I can believe that this lineup will let Benoit throw 5 straight shutout innings against them.

the company I worked for said in September, “please keep October 15 open. we will need a lot of valets to work that night..” so I’m being nice and helping them out. usually at the beginning of the event (630pm) and the end of the event (1130pm), we’re really busy trying to park people’s cars and/or retrieve their cars. but in the middle of our work shift, we really have a lot of down time and we’re not doing anything. hopefully I can watch the game!!

Please just jump out to like a 7 run lead in the 1st.

so you want murphy in left field and torrealba DH'ng? that would be the only other explanation.
